I have been working with the District Court and the Sheriff's Office to submit an application under round two of the HB Public Safety Program grant. We recently we had submitted round one and we were recently funded but we are eligible to apply under round two as well so we decided to do that after having a conversation with the District Court and primarily our request is to support their electronic monitoring programs. So they allow real-time monitoring of individuals charged with domestic violence and allow for notification to the victims and law enforcement should those individuals approach the victim's location. Substance use testing and post-disposition electronic and transdermal alcohol monitoring and it serves as a tool to help prevent crime potential crime and allow those individuals to stay in the community versus being housed in the jail while they are waiting trial. So which has provided a significant savings to the county. For the Sheriff's Office we're requesting funds to support an
